Passive oil barrier type R 150/ 200
The passive oil barrier type R 150/ 200 is a very robust, flexible and wind-resistant oil barrier, suitable for use in fast-flowing waters. Due to the shallow immersion depth, it can also be used for shallow water applications.
The entire oil barrier cover consists of a highly tear-resistant polyester carrier fabric (Panama weave) coated on both sides with vinyl.
The polystyrene buoyancy bodies in segmental construction are tightly welded into the HF oil barrier shell. The spinal column-like arrangement achieves a particularly high degree of flexibility in use.
In the hem of the skirt, weights are tightly fitted in an additional vinyl cover as ballast compensation and for counter-stability of the HF oil boom. The individual segments or accessories are connected by means of a quick coupling rail.
