Passive oil barrier type R 100
This oil barrier is a flexible solid barrier, ideally suited for calm waters or permanently installed protection. The 80 cm wide buoyancy bodies made of solid polyurethane rigid foam in segmental construction are tightly welded into the oil boom shell. In the hem of the apron, weights are fitted as ballast compensation for counter stabilisation. The entire oil barrier cover consists of a highly tear-resistant polyester carrier fabric that is vinyl-coated on both sides.
The connection of the individual 1 m wide barrier part lengths is done by quick coupling rails, which are compatible with the bottom lake coupling. Due to the short length of the oil boom segments, a high degree of flexibility in use is ensured as well as a handy and space-saving transport and storage option.
