Combination oil barrier ACS type 100/ 150/ 200
The combination oil barrier ACS – “Absorber Combi Skirt Barrier” can be used actively as well as passively and thus offers a practical combination of conventional absorber hose barriers and immersion wall barriers.
When used passively, the barrier seam and the barrier cover provide secure containment of the dirty water side. The PP sorbent hose turned to the clean water side and additionally integrated PE safety buoyancy bodies act as buoyancy bodies and provide a high degree of floating safety for the ACS oil barrier.
When used actively, the polypropylene sorbent hoses on the dirty water side provide reliable absorption. Barrier cover and barrier hem prevent undercutting and thus increase the contact abrasion time many times over. Oil diffusion to the clean water side is prevented by the increased absorption of the PP sorbent hose by the barrier cover and barrier seam.
The ACS system is available in 3 different sizes. In the standard version, the partial lengths of the ACS oil booms are 1, 2, 5 and 10 m long and can be connected to each other by means of a quick coupling rail. This allows a particularly flexible and optimal adaptation to the local conditions, as well as a combination of the different oil boom types with each other and with existing equipment of other makes.

Storage
Storage and transport
The ACS combi oil barrier can be rolled up to save space when transported and stored, e.g. in common Euroboxes. The sorbents can be stowed, e.g. 20 each, in handy carrier bags provided for this purpose.
